According to ESSCA’s AI Barometer, IT is leading the way in AI use in companies, with 37%, followed by Operations (15%) and Marketing (14%). Further behind are HR (12%), Finance (11%) and Sales (10%).

Dejan Glavas, Professor of Finance and Director of the AI ​​for Sustainability Institute at ESSCA explains: “As the department with the most technology expertise, IT leads the implementation and development of AI in companies. In fourth place is Human Resources.
