Twitter and Facebook now integrated with XBOX Live

Since yesterday, you can now cross-reference your XBOX Live profiles with those on Twitter and Facebook (as well as the Zune project, which we will discuss later as it is a bit “different”). This is great news for the sector, as it is back in the media spotlight when it comes to online marketing strategies.

We already mentioned a month ago that crossing both industries bank data user list could be very interesting. In fact, this approach already had another closely related news story, the purchase of the giant Electronic Arts to Playfish (a leading company on Facebook for its “ social media games ”), seen on Gaby Castellanos ’ blog .
It is no longer just a matter of creating an official page for a game or a community of players on Facebook, for example. It is a step forward, a step towards the future.
