How to avoid being scammed and what are the ways to distinguish

In the Internet age where information explodes and truth and falsehood are difficult to distinguish, fraud methods have become more diverse. How can we protect ourselves from being victimized?

1. Confirm the company background
Use legitimate and credible job search platforms (there are many Facebook job scams recently, be careful!)
Go to the company's official website, bahrain mobile database LinkedIn page, or government website to confirm whether it provides business registration information
2. Pay attention to the job opening
If a job posting has any of these characteristics, it is likely to be a scam:

High salary but easy, no experience required, even food and accommodation included
A job opening with a vague job description, but you were hired very quickly after applying
Requires prepayment of related fees
3. Contact channels and interview process
Confirm that the company domain name in the email is correct. Most formal companies will have email accounts and company domain names. If they don't have them and are only contacted through a regular Gmail, Yahoo account, or communication software (What's App, Line, Instagram, etc.), you should be cautious.
